  • Butyl resin was developed as an interlayer film for laminated glass in America in 1936. Ever since, its excellent characteristics have been recognized and it has been used in a wide range of applications such as ceramic binders, PCB adhesives, special coatings, and printer inks. Starting with the polyvinyl acetyl resin S-LEC B, which centers on butyl resin (PVB) manufactured using unique Sekisui technology, there are also the special polyvinyl acetyl resin S-LEC K and the new resin S-LEC SV, which adds excellent rheology characteristics to the S-LEC B series, and which are all expanding their fields of use.
