Enhancement of communication
SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group believes it is extremely important to engage in constructive dialogue with shareholders and investors in order to achieve sustainable growth and enhance corporate value over the medium to long term. We have therefore identified Active Engagement Between Investors and Management as one of our key issues, while the President and CEO, and Senior Managing Executive Officer, Head of the Business Strategy Department are taking the lead in proactively holding quarterly financial results briefings and direct dialogue with shareholders and institutional investors to leverage our management strategy to enhance corporate value. We work diligently to reflect the opinions and inquiries received through dialogue with our shareholders and investors in our management strategy for improving corporate value as well as our Integrated Report and other IR materials whenever possible. Similarly, we are strengthening efforts to communicate information through its website with an awareness of fair disclosure.
In recent years, interest in ESG investment has grown globally, and ratings agencies are proactively undertaking surveys. SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group compiles and publishes its Sustainability Report based on rating agency questionnaires and third-party reviews, as well as referencing various report-drafting guidelines including GRI standards and considering the importance of the report to society and SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group.

Commitment to Fair Disclosure and external evaluation
The Group streams videos of financial results presentations on its website, which are also available for viewing in English. Moreover, we strive to simultaneously disclose quarterly earnings releases and other financial results materials, financial and performance data, and information on corporate governance in Japanese and English, and are working to expand the information provided. As a result of our IR activities, we ranked third among Securities Analysts’ selected companies performing excellent disclosure in the chemicals industry in FY2023. From a disclosure perspective, we were selected for the Award for Excellence as part of the 2023 Daiwa Internet IR Awards conducted by Daiwa Investor Relations Co. Ltd. Moreover, the Group's 2023 Integrated Report was the only report from among 70 entries chosen as the "Excellent Integrated Report" and the only one from among 100 entries chosen as the "Highly Improved Integrated Report," both of which are selected by GPIF's asset managers entrusted with domestic equity investment. Similarly, we were selected for the outstanding performance award as part of the NIKKEI Integrated Report Award.
