Growth Trajectory
SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group was founded in March 1947 for the purpose of the comprehensive commercialization of plastics.
Thereafter, we proactively advanced into unprec-edented businesses centered on plastics-related technologies and products, including starting Japan’s first automatic plastic injection molding business, and the Group’s business has been steadily expanded.

Began full-fledged production of ESLON polyvinyl chloride pipes

Began production of interlayer film for laminated

Rolled out poly-pail plastic garbage bins on a nationwide basis and contributed to efforts aimed at resolving garbage-related issues

Established SEKISUI PLASTICS CORPORATION, the first plant to be set up in the U.S. by a Japanese manufacturer

Entered the housing business with the launch of steel frame unit housing “HEIM”
