Tokyo, February 4th, 2020: SEKISUI CHEMICAL CO., LTD. (TSE: 4204) (President: Teiji Koge, hereinafter called "SEKISUI CHEMICAL") has been designated with a sustainability ranking of "Bronze Class" by S&P Global, which is a global ESG investment* investigation and ranking company.
On this occasion, 220 (18 of which, including SEKISUI CHEMICAL were Japanese) out of more than 4,710 major global corporations were selected for sustainability award. This is the tenth consecutive year, since 2011, that SEKISUI CHEMICAL has been designated.
This year, SEKISUI CHEMICAL was also named as the SAM Industry Mover, which chooses the company within top 15% of each industry that has achieved the largest proportional improvement in its sustainability performance compared to the previous year.
