Background

  Since 2007, SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group has held the Global Children's Eco Summit once every 5 years. The children of employees in the SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group around the world participate and learn about the environment and how they can contribute to it. At the most recent Global Children's Eco-Summit, held in August 2017, the participants (Eco-Ambassadors) recommended SEKISUI CHEMICAL to provide educational materials that enable their generation to learn about the environment. SEKISUI CHEMICAL promised to provide such materials. The opening of this website and the distribution of electronic educational materials (for global use) will be the second step in keeping this promise.
  Through these websites and other methods, we will support the development of a next generation who both can and want to contribute to the creation of a sustainable society.

Open SDGs Learning Website and Teaching Materials

  SEKISUI SDGs Academy provides educational materials for learners to know more about the sustainable development goals (SDG’s). In order to encourage young minds to think about the SDGs through the creation of products, we distributed card games to help them think about the relationship with the SDGs from a variety of products.
  In the future, SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group will also publish multilingual teaching materials on the same website.
