SEKISUI CHEMICAL Wins Japan Investor Relations Association 25th Anniversary Commemorative Award

SEKISUI CHEMICAL CO., LTD. (President and Representative Director: Teiji Koge; hereinafter, "SEKISUI CHEMICAL") announces that it won the 25th Anniversary Commemorative Award of the IR Awards presented by the Japan Investor Relations Association (JIRA).

The JIRA 25th Anniversary Commemorative Award is a special prize, created to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the JIRA, awarded to a company that has continuously conducted IR activities over the medium to long term, properly disclosed information, and engaged in constructive dialogue. The JIRA IR Awards Judging Committee, made up of analysts, investors, news organizations, and others, selected SEKISUI CHEMICAL based on the screening results for the 12 years from 2007 to 2018.

The JIRA explained its selection of SEKISUI CHEMICAL as follows.

SEKISUI CHEMICAL has been solidly commended for its continual high-level, comprehensive IR activities over the long term and its efforts to ensure appropriate information disclosure and constructive dialogue with the investment community.
In addition to good disclosure of materials, including those related to financial results, its IR contacts’ explanations are easy to understand, thereby contributing to analysts’ corporate value analysis. SEKISUI CHEMICAL is one of the frontrunners in initiating ESG-related activities and makes information available even to individual investors on its website. SEKISUI CHEMICAL was also selected as a Company with Greatest Improvement in IR and Company with Best Continual Efforts in IR, the recipients of which were selected from among the candidates for the special prize.
