The Urban Infrastructure & Environmental Products Company (President : Hajime Kubo) of SEKISUI CHEMICAL CO., LTD. (President: Teiji Koge, hereinafter called “SEKISUI CHEMICAL”) has been producing thermoforming plastic sheets applicable for Aviation and Mass Transit Interiors, Housing of Medical Components, Exterior Materials of Vehicle and Construction Equipment, etc. through its affiliate company, SEKISUI Polymer Innovations, LLC. (hereinafter called “SPI”) .
Please note the 3rd factory of SPI has started production of PVC sheets on June 1st, 2016.
SPI is expanding its business by the increase of its production capacity to meet the expected demand increase for Aviation Industry and Mass Transit Interiors.

The day when new factory started production on June 1st, SEKISUI was selected out of over 500 Japanese companies existing in the state of Pennsylvania (PA) to introduce its operation in PA at Investment Seminar arranged by Pennsylvania State Government and JETRO.
We will expand our plastic sheet business initiated from U.S. to worldwide based on this increase of production capacity as well as to increase perception of SEKISUI itself in the United States.
