Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Ikusuke Shimizu; hereinafter “Sekisui Chemical”) announced that Shinichiro Konno, a member of Sekisui Chemical’s Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) team, spoke as part of the Japanese delegation at “WMF_We Make Future,” held in Bologna, Italy, from June 24 to 26.

In the session, under the theme “Japan at the Forefront of Hardware and Digital Life,” Konno together with members of the Japanese delegation, introduced the company’s CVC activities and focus areas and exchanged views on the potential for Japanese companies to utilize robotics.
In its CVC activities, Sekisui Chemical uses the Sekisui Chemical Group’s strategic domain map as a compass to promote co-creation with domestic and international startups, in addition to investing in them.
