Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Ikusuke Shimizu; hereinafter “Sekisui Chemical”) announced that Daiki Yamashita, who leads the SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group’s overseas Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) activities with a primary focus on North America, participated as a panelist at the “Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Showcase,” hosted by Deep-Tech Showcase on July 29, 2026.
Deep-Tech Showcase is an ecosystem platform that connects deep-tech startups with stakeholders from government, industry, and the venture capital community.
During the sessions, we showcased the Sekisui Chemical Group’s initiatives and strengths through discussions with CVC and business development representatives from leading global companies in sectors such as chemicals, automotive, semiconductors, and aerospace and defense, thereby strengthening our network with stakeholders both in Japan and abroad.
In its CVC activities, Sekisui Chemical uses the Sekisui Chemical Group’s strategic domain map as a compass to promote co-creation with domestic and international startups, in addition to investing in them.
