SEKISUI CHEMICAL CO., LTD. (President and Representative Director: Ikusuke Shimizu; hereinafter “SEKISUI CHEMICAL”) announced that Shinichiro Konno, a member of its Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) team, took the stage at the Investor Stage of “SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026,” held from April 27 to 30.

Under the theme “Building Intelligent Cities: Converging Robotics, AI, and Sustainable Construction,” the session went beyond an introduction of SEKISUI CHEMICAL’s CVC initiatives. Together with experts from Japan and abroad, the speakers exchanged views on the latest deployment use cases and technologies, key bottlenecks hindering business scaling, and the potential for cross-border collaboration.

Guided by its Strategic Domain Map as a compass, SEKISUI CHEMICAL’s CVC team will continue to further accelerate value creation through investments in and co-creation with startups in Japan and worldwide.
