Selected for the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI)

SEKISUI CHEMICAL CO., LTD. (President and Representative Director: Teiji Koge; hereinafter, “SEKISUI CHEMICAL”) has been selected for the seventh year in a row by the World Index of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI), a global stock index for ESG investment.*

*ESG investment:

An investment method that evaluates businesses not only from financial aspects, but also from environmental, social, and governance aspects.

This stock index is developed by America's S&P Dow Jones Indices and Switzerland's RobecoSAM, and is used to select the top-ranked businesses in each industry by evaluating the sustainability of their corporate business activities.

On this occasion, 317 of the 3,504 companies surveyed worldwide were selected by the World Index, 34 of which were Japanese, including SEKISUI CHEMICAL.
