SEKISUI CHEMICAL CO., LTD. (President: Naofumi Negishi) has been selected
for the third year in a row by the "World Index" of the "Dow
Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI)", which is the global stock index of
SRI (See Note).
This index is a stock index developed by America's Dow
Jones & Company, Inc. and Switzerland's RobecoSAM, and is used to select
the top-ranked businesses of each type by evaluating the sustainability of their
corporate business activities.
On this occasion, 319 (of which 21 are Japanese) out of approx. 3,000 major global corporations were selected by the "World Index".
