Responding to the occurrence of the earthquake, SEKISUI CHEMICAL CO., LTD. and Sekisui Heim Group established an emergency response headquarters on March 11, 2011. Today, we started distributing water and foodstuffs (for 14,000 meals), 100 portable gas stoves, 600 cassette cylinders, 130 blankets, and other supplies as first life support goods to emergency response bases in each affected area.* The goods are expected to arrive at their destinations by March 15.
We will dispatch life support goods on a continuous basis hereafter, including foodstuffs, work gloves, towels, masks, flashlights, powdered milk, etc.
