This is to notify you that, in light of recent trends in business results, we have decided to revise the earnings forecast published on July 27, 2010.

3. Reasons for Revision
The Company revised its consolidated forecasts for the 2nd quarter of fiscal 2010, to reflect the first quarter results, which included greater-than-anticipated demand growth for IT-related products in High Performance Plastics Company, as well as growth of new house construction business and residential environment business centered on reform in the 2nd quarter of the period, which set the Company on pace to exceed the net sales and income forecast figures announced on July 27, 2010.
Also for the forecasts for full term, figures are revised as above, as each business in High Performance Plastics Company is expected to remain strong, in addition to sales in new house construction business and residential environment business which had strong orders by the 2nd quarter being expected to rise.
