Sekisui Chemical Exhibits at K Messe 2010 (Germany)
Nov 8, 2010
K Messe 2010, the world's biggest plastics-related exhibition, was held in Dusseldorf, Germany over a period of eight days from October 27 to November 3.

K Messe is an exhibition that is held once every three years and this year Sekisui Chemical has taken part in the exhibition following the last exhibition in 2007 with the aims of acquiring new customers, opening up markets and expanding awareness of the SEKISUI brand in the European market on the concepts of "Vision in the areas green business and social responsibility" "Constantly challenging new frontiers" and "cutting-edge technologies and products." The event was characterized by a very lively, bustling atmosphere with more than 3,100 companies taking part and as many as 220 thousand visitors in attendance from approximately 100 countries. This year, SEKISUI PLASTICS CO., LTD., also took part in presenting a joint exhibition.

Among the Sekisui Chemical Group exhibits were "ADVANCELL," functional fine particles, "Fi-Block" a thermal expansion fire-resistant material, "SP Sealant," a sealing material and "PIOCELAN," a polystyrene/polyolefin hybrid resin foam (SEKISUI PLASTICS). Approximately 3,500 visitors came to the SEKISUI booth and more than 1,000 enquiries were received, endorsing the reliability of Sekisui Chemical Group product solutions and high expectation on the Sekisui Chemical Group. The seating capacity space in the booth often became insufficient to accommodate business discussions and, as well as successfully sounding out the potential for future business expansion in Europe, the exhibition also presented the chance to enhance permeation of the "SEKISUI Brand," marking a highly successful end to the event.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincerest thanks to all concerned for their support and cooperation during the exhibition and to visitors to the SEKISUI booth.
