Konno joined a Japanese leasing company in 2017 after graduating from university. He was in charge of supporting capital investment in the construction industry and syndicated projects for large companies. In 2021, he transferred to the business strategy department. With the aim of creating new businesses, he was mainly involved in investment in startups and venture capital related to the environment, healthcare, fintech, and real estate. After that, he was responsible for promoting new businesses across the company. In 2024, he joined Sekisui Chemical's CVC team. He works with each company to explore, invest in, and collaborate with startups, including in the residential field.
