After graduating from the Graduate School of Polymer Science at Kyoto Institute of Technology, Sasaki joined SEKISUI CHEMICAL in 2006 and was involved in R&D work in nanotechnology, electronic materials, and energy materials. During his work experience, he gained extensive knowledge in planning, R&D, and commercialization in the Deep-Tech area. He also spent two years as a visiting scholar at Princeton University in the U.S. and gained valuable overseas experiences. He joined the CVC in 2019 and was based in Silicon Valley until 2024. He is promoting new business planning/investment through collaboration with overseas startups.
