Sekisui Chemical Group Companies Announce Details of European Children's Eco Summit 2008
President Igor Allincks of SEKISUI ALVEO, AG (Luzern, Switzerland) and President Sirt Mellema of SEKISUI S- LEC B.V. (Roermond, the Netherlands) announced the details of the European Children's Eco Summit 2008 scheduled to be held in September. SEKISUI CHEMICAL GmbH (Dusseldorf, Germany) and ESLON B.V. (Roermond, the Netherlands) will also serve as co-sponsors.
The European Children's Eco Summit 2008 will have 2 major objectives:

To actively engage the employees of the European subsidiaries of the Sekisui Chemical Group in environmental activity |
| 2. |
To create awareness of the CSR activities of the Sekisui Chemical Group among major stakeholders including customers, communities and local governments. |
40 children will participate in the European Children's Eco Summit 2008: 30 children of Sekisui Chemical Group Employees and 10 children of customers. The European Children's Eco Summit 2008 will be held in the National Park de Meinweg in Roermond, The Netherlands, and feature lectures and workshops around a central environmental theme.
The European Children's Eco Summit 2008 will continue the process of raising awareness of global environmental issues began in the 1st Global Children's Eco Summit held in Tokyo Japan on August 2nd, 2007. 23 children of Sekisui Chemical Group employees from 9 countries participated in Global Children's Eco Summit 2007, which was inspired by the themes of 'Environment', 'Next Generation', and 'Global'. 3 European participants of the Global Children's Eco Summit 2007 will attend the European Children's Eco Summit 2008 to present their experiences in Japan.
