The Composite Products & Materials Business Unit of the Urban Infrastructure & Environmental Products Company exhibited the "FFU Synthetic Sleepers" and the "CALMMOON Noise Protection Sheets" at Modern Railways 2007 held in Beijing, China from September 5 (Wed) to 9 (Sun).

Modern Railways Exhibition, staged biennially and hosted mainly by the Chinese Ministry of Railways, is the largest railway exhibition in China. Highlighted themes at the 2007 exhibition included environmental protection, technology and equipment for the construction of high-speed railways, speed enhancement on existing railway lines, etc.

Sekisui Chemical's FFU Synthetic Sleepers and CALMMOON Noise Protection Sheets generated considerable interest, and our booth received visits from the Chinese Minister of Railways, railway industry personnel, and many other customers from all over the world.
