Contributing to school meals in developing countries

Table for Two (TFT) is a program in which 20 yen is added to the cost of a meal in employee cafeterias, which amount donated to support school meals in developing countries. Since May 2008, Sekisui Chemical Group has conducted this program at three facilities in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, contributing approximately 260,000 yen in the 2008 fiscal year. In addition, plans call for expanding this program to cover the entire Sekisui Chemical Group as well, based on the fact that results of a survey of employees at business facilities nationwide with cafeterias, including the above three facilities, showed that more than 80% agreed with the goals of the Table for Two program.
