Content of the exhibit
Sekisui Chemical's booth featured an introduction to the various sewage pipe renewal (SPR) method of the Pipe Rehabilitation Division. The demonstration of the SPR method in particular attracted the attention of a large number of attendees concerning the strong points of an excellent pipe rehabilitation technology that meticulously responds to existing pipe types, shapes, underground installation conditions, deterioration status, and the needs of restricted project environments. In addition, the booth of the Japan Global Center for Urban Sanitation (GCUS) featured an exhibit on joint public-private asset management conducted with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Sewerage, including a model providing an easily understandable introduction to a successful case study of using the SPR method through public-private cooperation. In the future too, Sekisui Chemical plans to make the most of opportunities such as these to communicate to the world information on its pipe rehabilitation business.
