Report on Exhibit by SEKISUI MEDICAL at 2008 Medica Messe
(International Medical Devices Exhibition, Germany)

With the cooperation of Sekisui Chemical GmbH, the Diagnostics Reagent Business Division of SEKISUI MEDICAL CO., LTD. took part in the Medica Messe exhibition held in Dusseldorf, Germany November 19 (Wednesday) - 22 (Saturday). This was the first exhibition that the new company, "SEKISUI MEDICAL" has taken part in.

The company's participation in the exhibition served to advertize the new company name to the world's diagnostics reagents industry, and exhibits were narrowed down to the following products for display in the open booth design shown in the photographs below.

The exhibition hall was larger than that of previous years and, because we were able to secure as larger exhibition space than usual, the booth was visited by large numbers of attendees, making this an even more successful event for the company than ever.

We would like to take this opportunity to offer our sincerest thanks to all those who visited our booth and to those who extended their kind cooperation to make this event possible.

With this success as our starting line, all the staff at SEKISUI MEDICAL aim to forge ahead to realize even greater expansion of overseas sales.

Looking at the figures for Medica Messe as a whole, a total of 4,300 companies from 65 countries took part in the exhibition (including 54 Japanese companies) and the event was attended by 137,000 visitors, showing levels of participation and attendance slightly higher than those in a typical year. Even at a time when world markets are suffering a financial crisis, this exhibition further enhanced its presence as the world's largest event of its kind in medical fields.
