Revision of the Pricing of Polyvinyl Chloride Tubes and Related Products
In the midst of the steep rise in crude oil and naphtha prices, every company manufacturing polyvinyl chloride resins for such materials as polyvinyl chloride pipes and joints is repeatedly requesting us to accept price hikes in the materials. As a result, we have to recognize that there is no alternative to accepting these requests for raising prices in view of the need to ensure the stable supply of our products.
Although we are putting our utmost efforts into implementing various cost reduction and streamlining measures with respect to our processes, the pressure of the increasing prices for raw materials is exceeding the extent of our own efforts at trimming costs. We have thus decided to once again revise our sales prices. The detailed contents of the price revisions are shown below, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding of the situation.
