In keeping with the company's 60th Anniversary program of 'Environment', 'Next Generation', and Global', Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd. exhibited environmental contribution products and technologies at the Eco-Products 2007 exhibition. Reflecting the growing interest in environmental issues, Eco-Products 2007 had approx. 165,000 visitors (up from 153,000 in 2006). Sekisui's booth enjoyed record attendance with 4200 visitors over the 3-day exhibition.

Sekisui's booth featured a central stage and 3 exhibition corners based on the themes of CO2, Water, and '3R': Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. In the stage area, members of Sekisui's CSR Department collaborated with the Micle Musical Company to perform skits explaining the concept of 'CO2 offset' (Taking conservations steps to compensate for the CO2 generated by daily activities). Audience members ranged from elementary and junior high school students to homemakers and businesspeople.

In the booth's exhibition area, business units representing Sekisui's 3 Divisional Companies [The High Performance Plastics Company (HPP), the Urban Infrastructure and Environmental Products Company (UIEP), and the Housing Company] displayed environmental contribution products and technologies in the CO2, Water, and 3R exhibition corners. After viewing the skit and doing research in the 3 theme corners, visitors to the booth were encouraged to create a personal 'environmental pledge'.
